I can't imagine this offense not stepping up and scoring more points with Coop, Gallup, and Jarwin leading the way.

Last year the defense was having to keep us in games. This year I think they will be in attack mode.

I think the defense could be top 5 overall, and maybe make a run at top 3.

What do you guys think about the defense, and do you have any player projections?

I think there will be a big increase in sacks and turnovers.

I think with all the dline disruption,
Jaylon will have 8 sacks and 12 tfls

Ball control helps out defense. It's a fine line. Win 20-14 or 38-31? Lol!!! Just win baby!!

I think that the NFC East will boil down to the Philadelphia defense's play vs the Dallas offense's play...across the season.

The defense still worries me. Near the bottom of the league on pressure % and still bottom 10 in turnovers. Also a little below average in getting off the field on 3rd downs

Slowly but surely, this defense has progressed to the point where we’re debating positional depth as much as we are the starting jobs.

Still gotta see it in the field, but things are looking up, IMO.

I think they will be good but not top 5

The 2 biggest concerns going into LAST season still haven’t been addressed, 1T DT and FS. They need to show me that they can get off the field on 3 rd down and not wear down as the season goes on

Everyone healthy for the first time since 2016. Williams bigger.

The oline is the big deal to me. As of now, they're set to return to dominance.

Our nemesis the "turnover"(especially secondary interceptions) always seems to elude us dating way back a good number of years. Would like to see pick sixes and scoop and scores. And if we can't achieve those pick sixes and scoop and scores, then at least catch the interception and recover the fumble when those opportunities present themselves.

Really is an inexpicable headscratcher to me in the low number of turnovers produced no matter how stout the defense seems to be in all other categories in a given year. It never seems to change.

My predictions:
- We will be great at creating pressure from the edge
- We'll strip the ball plenty and recover fumbles
- Agree Jaylon will be a beast on the blitz
- Our LB's will be league leading in TFL's and run stops

But we will also be:
- Bottom five for interceptions
- Our strong safety will miss too many tackles
- TE's will make too many plays
- A little susceptible against runs on stunts

I put us at about the 5-8th best defense which is still very good and puts us as a contender if the Offense can play to their talent level.

The D may have to carry the team especially if Zeke is not here.
More than a couple of things will have to fall into place for our D to carry the team, but I don’t really disagree.

They should improve from playing and practicing together. They are very young.

Richard should have the secondary understanding what he wants. He has a year of play time under his belt.

Quinn, hill, covington, Hyder, healthy collins are good editions for depth on the line.
