Defense

The defense still worries me. Near the bottom of the league on pressure % and still bottom 10 in turnovers. Also a little below average in getting off the field on 3rd downs

Do you realize how talented the defense hAs to be to be top 10 and ranked bottom in those two categories. Just imagine if they force turnovers and get more pressures. Sky’s the limit

I can't imagine this offense not stepping up and scoring more points with Coop, Gallup, and Jarwin leading the way.

Last year the defense was having to keep us in games. This year I think they will be in attack mode.

I think the defense could be top 5 overall, and maybe make a run at top 3.

What do you guys think about the defense, and do you have any player projections?

I think there will be a big increase in sacks and turnovers.

I think with all the dline disruption,
Jaylon will have 8 sacks and 12 tfls

Ummmm no. They are top barely in the top 10 in yards allowed. When you are a defense that plays with an offense that plays ball control offense its not difficult if you face less snaps per game

Teams have to load up to stop Zeke and Coop is hard to stop 1v1. Jarwin was wide open a bunch last year, and was thrown out of a few long TD's. He might be a td machine for us.

The D may have to carry the team especially if Zeke is not here.

I hope they match big with big..it would suck if Jordan Lewis has to carry Zack Martin...

The worst would be the guy that has to carry Garrett...spit-clap-repeat.

I don't know all the position terms, he is the mlb when they have 3 on the field and moves up on the line too . He had 4 sacks and 6 tfl last year. He got close rushing outside of those plays quite often. I assumed with improved rotation on the line, and the secondary in year 2 with Kris, that there will be more opportunities for him. I decided to be optimistic.
