Defensive help

In a perfect world Rolando McClain somehow comes back to this team at the end of the year just in time for the big playoff push.

The problem is he typically hasn't come to training camp or mini-camps anywhere in shape. It's frightening to think about what we might look like after being left to his own devices almost the entire season. Will it be the 280'ish we saw last season OR close to 300? Have there been any Ro sightings?

This means nothing.

I do believe he will not be back either. But not having a locker does not mean one can open up and be made available.

please, the only player without his name on a locker stall was McClain, Gregory's name was there, Lawrence name was there, both of those guys were suspended at the time too..

And this was before Gregory's additional 10 games.
It still doesn't mean a thing. But as I said, I do not think he will return....but not having a locker is the same as Jason saying he is Day to Day.....

This is not a popular subject, but considering we're off to a great start it warrants further consideration.

I wonder what Rolando is doing. I know-I know, he a complete nut job and can't be trusted, but the cat can play. He fill gaps in the run game like nobody's business. I'm not even a little bit hopeful - just been thinking What if?
What's up with Randy's rehab? Same as above and his so called demons. But what if he can add something to this defense late.

I kind of get the feeling Jaylon's nerve is starting to respond. They're keeping it hush, so not to creat a distraction. Too many little comments-as they say where there is smoke there's fire

Maybe some of these guys can contribute late this year-just wondering.

You get the feeling although surprisingly good, the only thing that can hold this team back is the Def front 7. Just wondering......
Honestly, you have a better chance buying a lottery ticket, especially with McClain.

McClain < 1%

Gregory 2%

Jaylon Smith 5%

It all depends on the circumstances surrounding the team when Ro or Gregory become available. If we're desperate then Ro might be an option. If we've got roster space then Gregory might come back just to get him some playing time and further his development,,, and keep him from having too much free time!

I have close ties to Rolando. He is working out at Alabama with Sabin. Here is a photo of McClain working out.

Something illegal.

Doesn't matter, he crossed the old man. Now he's going to pay. Or not get payed, however you want to look at it. When his suspension is up he's going to get some certified mail. Thanks for coming.

I think Nzeocha is healthy now and Irving should be back in the rotation this week, if you are looking for a defensive boost. Plus, we can add a few more snaps for Lawrence.

Man, the old man is more powerful than people realize. That's a guy you don't want mad at you
Happy 74th bday Jerry. Don't be mad at me!
