So it's been said/shown Marinelli likes to rotate his defensive lineman to keep them fresh and attack in waves. My question is, is it really paying off when you look at how the defense has played?

In theory it sounds like a good idea because you could continuously wear on the offense line with so many fresh bodies on the defense giving you 100 percent every snap, but at some point, is the talent drop off just not worth it?

I'm not saying our ends shouldnt come out for a few plays once in a while but I feel like watching the QB have all day or a running back being chased from behind by Kerry Hyder on a critical play when DeMarcus Lawrence and Quinn are on the bench is just counterproductive to some degree. If you genuinely have 4 different ends and 2 of them are pass rush specialists I can understand them coming in on obvious downs but these are just average to below average back ups at best. If we are struggling to get to the QB with our best players, simply subbing for a fresh player with minimal ability doesnt bring much to the cause.

It's been a long week here and there is are numerous concerns but this one in particular was something I wanted others opinion on.

I don't remember much attacking until the game was well out of reach

Oh, you need a rotation on the DLine. What you don't need is a rotation of castoffs and JAG's.
