Take the second half of the Atlanta game and second half of Seattle. How was the D? They basically shut them both down. It's not all negative and stats are for losers.

How bad are they that they play "Well" for half the game yet still are at the bottom in most categories? You have to realize how proportions work. You can't be maggots on a dead animal bad for half the game and think it's ok because the other half, you weren't as bad as that. The score does not reset after each half and start over. Being so bad half the game has consequences the entire game.

This defense has no clue how to get timely stops or force any turnovers. They had chances to do that with the lead in the 4th on Sunday and failed miserably.

the other one which helps hide defensive deficiencies is takeaways which we are still struggling at for something like 11 straight years. Defenses can have glaring holes and survive if they get the takeaways.
