So far only the falcons have come up with a scheme to limit the eagles offense. double team TO and the TE or westbrook are going to heep the chains moving. dont have to worry about mcnabb running for too many first downs right now.

The falcons played single coverage on TO but where in mcnabbs face all day. in fact over the past few years, the teams that have beat the eagles have done that. the patriots threw him off his game by hitting him early and keeping him winded.

sitting back in coverage schemes, mcnabb will buy time to find the open receiver. you have to get him off his game to win, when he is off he misses wide open targets by throwing really high or throwing dirtballs at their feet.

i would cover TO in man, keep constsnt pressure on mcnabb and blanket westbrook so mcnabb does not have an outlet for the underneath stuff and take my chances that LJ Smith wont have a big day.

I said it once and I will say it again,

Your much more advanced in your defensive thinking then that fool we have employed as a DC here...

Nope, while that makes sense, we will see:

A passive & predictable nickle of:

4 man rush, no question on who will be rushing the passer...
VERY slow LBers in tiny dat and Shanle...
DB coverage that allows the Short pass AND the long game breakers...
So expect a ton of Short passes to Westbrook, LJ worked in and TO will get his share of catches too...

Memo to Mr. Jones:

zimmy is the worst DC in the NFL...
I have seen quite a few Pee Wee league coaches that had a better understanding of FOOTBALL!
Your Milions are being wasted with a clueless WUSS there!
