I haven't had a chance to re watch the game and I didn't focus on it while I was at the stadium on Sunday night, but my question is did we play more zone than man vs the giants?

I remember Kiff telling the players to watch tape on the Seahawks..I also remember many beat writers saying wed run a lot of man bc of the CBs we have.

I know once we took the lead 27-10 we ran a lot of soft zones and Eli ate that up. Prior to that how was the defensive play calling? Was it more man than zone? More zone than man? A good combination of both? TIA

It looked to me like they played almost exclusively zone.

Zone and lots of it.

A lot of people think Claiborne gave up those 2 big plays but he was just playing his zone and funneling his guy inside where Will Allen was supposed to be.

Also he had the flats on the 70 yard pass, not man coverage, on the play that gave up 70 yards where Will Allen busted again.

Yeah, our defense didn't look very much like Seattles, at least not scheme wise.

Looked more like Chicago to me

So if we ran exclusively zone-did Eli just figure it out in the 2H? Seems like 1H there weren't gaping holes defensively like there were 2H
