Before the season, our three defensive standouts needed to produce in Wade's system. Wade says he puts his best players in the best places to make plays. OUr three best defensive players should be Ware, Newman and Roy. Newman gets a pass due to injury but Ware and Roy need to play better. roy was by far the worse of the two. I don't care about Sacks for Ware. Ware needs to cause problems on more snaps rather than getting an occassionally pressure. I am sure it will come but he needs to be a factor on a higher percentage of plays.
Roy was very disappoininting. If he is going to play the role that Wade has him in he needs to make much more plays. He was bad in coverage last night, had some missed tackles and didn't make any big plays. This has to change.
The rest of our defenders will play off our big three. Although they need to play big or this defense could be a unit that doesn't make big plays but gives plenty of them up.
