They will probably cut Hamilton and then possibly bring him back once they IR Gallimore.
I think Gallimore/Hill have the pass rush potential in the nickel, but they need to get onto the field first. Very excited about Osa, could be a diamond in the rough.I don't see any players that I would want to cut and replace with a cut from another team.
- They'll only keep 5 on the 53.
These players can play the run.
- Veterans
- Brent Urban
- Carlos Watkins
- Terrific Looking Young Player
- Osa Odighizuwa
- Where's the Beef
- Quinton Bohanna
- Justin Hamilton
If they want more pass rush on 3rd downs then use more 3-3-5 Nickel instead of the standard 4-2-5 Nickel.
- In 3-3-5 one DT is replaced by a LB.
IRGallimore?
He has played well this preseason. I think he is better than Woods was in past years. He was ahead of Bohanna on the depth chart for the Texans game. They will probably cut Hamilton and then possibly bring him back once they IR Gallimore.
I didn't comment on them because they'll be on IR.I think Gallimore/Hill have the pass rush potential in the nickel, but they need to get onto the field first. Very excited about Osa, could be a diamond in the rough.
Gholston is on PUP.You see Golston and Gallimore being on IR or PS?
"What do it mean?"So that Trysten Hill guy....is this finally it for him?
Defensive Tackle Thoughts? I think they think about food a lot. Maybe think about moving to DE where there's more money.
So he can be DFR. Right?Gholston is on PUP.
Hill is on PUP.
Gallimore will be moved to IR but he has to be on the roster for a day after the initial cut to 53 then can be moved to IR.
One year rentals.I think Hamilton goes first when Gallimore comes back and Hill stays on PUP or goes to IR. I don't think they are ready to give upon him just yet. Neither am I. And remember, Urban and Watkins on both on 1 year deals. If they play well, the Cowboys won't be able to sign them again next year. If they don't play well, then the Cowboys will let them both go.
I feel better about DT than I did the last couple seasons, mainly, cause of the depth they added...Osa, Urban and Watkins. Although, I don't know what Watkins brings hopefully he plays solid ball.

That was my thought. But based on your post, who gets cut to keep him on the 53 before he moves to IR?
