If you can't bring pressure w/ your front 4, you've already lost. The best defense is when your front four dominate and pressure the QB without a bunch of blitzes

I dont think the team is sold on him.
Yeah, but the way Seattle timed those secondary blitzes last night was a thing of beauty. I hope Eberflus was taking notes. The best defense is when your front four dominate and pressure the QB without a bunch of blitzes
The front four of Seattle wouldn’t have gotten home if they had a porous backfield like the one we have with the Cowboys. Drake Maye would have picked it apart.Yeah, but the way Seattle timed those secondary blitzes last night was a thing of beauty. I hope Eberflus was taking notes.
So, you still gotta blitz. More than anything it's not just about fronts, it's also about not being predictable.
Also, shout out to Seattle's special teams.
There is no comparison what are you talking about it's blatantly obvious the last couple of seasons Seattle was number one and the Cowboys were around 32 Yeah I think that's a gap big enough to say there is no comparisons none can be made at all and it needs a full rebuild this offseason and that's going to be tough they're going to make tough decisions make some trades be smart in the draft go after free agents if they want to even get to have a 20th ranked which with this offense you could probably be pretty successful 10 to 12 wins versus what happened last year if we could just get that far out of the cellar..LOLExactly, The talent level between Seattle's defense and Dallas's defense is overwhelming.
Well, Eberflus could have taken a whole library full of notes, has zero effect on the Cowboys.Yeah, but the way Seattle timed those secondary blitzes last night was a thing of beauty. I hope Eberflus was taking notes.

Im telling you, I was jealous of how well they locked down in those zones. I think there were some opportunities but by then Maye was seeing ghosts.Maye basically had nowhere to throw because Seattle’s zone was so effective.
Yeah, he can take what he learned down to the PWFL (Pop Warner Football League) where he belongs!Well, Eberflus could have taken a whole library full of notes, has zero effect on the Cowboys.

Me too. I’m jealous of how they did that. Those defensive backs weren’t top-15 picks either, except for Weatherspoon. Hopefully, our defense with Parker can achieve that level of greatness.Im telling you, I was jealous of how well they locked down in those zones. No doubt. I hope we focus on rebuilding LB and secondary this offseasonThe front four of Seattle wouldn’t have gotten home if they had a porous backfield like the one we have with the Cowboys. Drake Maye would have picked it apart.

Those blitzes were amazing! It was like watching a horror movie as they took out their victims.
Exactly.Well, Eberflus could have taken a whole library full of notes, has zero effect on the Cowboys.
Well I just meant Eberflus is no longer a coach for the Cowboys.Exactly.
So funny to continue to read the scheme stuff though.
Because putting those same Cowboys guys last year from the linebacker and secondary group in Seattle's scheme changes absolutely nothing about last year's onfield performance.
Absolutely nothing.
Some here need to get over this Jerry influenced over rated bias of those Cowboy players.
They sucked as players. Period.
REGARDLESS of scheme or coach.
Seahawks played just 1.5% of their snaps in base defense. Even the NFL average is just 29.1% which out of an average of around a 60 snap game is between 15-18 snaps.
Yeah,Well I just meant Eberflus is no longer a coach for the Cowboys.
Yeah, but he's still a reference point for coaching failure. There are levels to the game, and he represents the lowest level on the scale.Well I just meant Eberflus is no longer a coach for the Cowboys.
Even with our pathetic roster, Seattle's scheme would yield better results, albeit just a couple of Ws.Yeah,
I just meant it didn't matter who was the coach.
The results would have been the same.
And nope, not an Eberflus apologist. Could care less.
Lack of talent is purely that.
Can't make chicken salad out of chicken ****.
He missed a lot of open receivers, too. Pressure may have had him shook, but even when he had time, he was off.Seattle's entire defense was friggin brilliant last night. The front four hit Maye on every snap, but the Seahawks secondary was on absolute lockdown mode too. On the alternate camera angles, you could see that Maye had nowhere to throw. And that back seven was HITTING.
Those sacks took a toll. Maye finally settled down in the 4th a little, but it was too late and he had to force the ball.He missed a lot of open receivers, too. Pressure may have had him shook, but even when he had time, he was off.
Pretty sure Seattle blitzed considerable. The best defense is when your front four dominate and pressure the QB without a bunch of blitzes
