I think they needed that pick for a QB that slips...likely Herbert or Love.

Are they a DT away from winning next year? Why not draft your own guy at 13 and you dont have to pay him?

I realize picks arent proven but trading firsts for vets is a move for when you're one player away. They arent, and don't have a QB.
