Deion Branch TD

I dunno,,, I think Hasselbeck got lucky on that one,,, if Scandrick looks back 1 millisecond sooner it's an easy pick and everyone would be saying what an idiotic/ poor throw,,,

This is the second time that's happened to Scandrick. The first time occurred in the Giant's game.

He was stride for stride with Steve Smith....the ball seemed to nearly land on Scandrick's hip. I don't know how he didn't catch the ball. Smith caught it for a long pass play.

It looked almost the same as the Branch TD.

I will say this, if Scandrick gets his eyes on the ball a split second sooner, it might have been an INT or at least a pass defended

THIS !

May have been an accurate throw, but it was a poor decision.
QBs making up for poor decisions with athletic talent is the name of the game... you would do it too, if you could!

You determine whether it was a poor decision at the time the decision is made. Not based on the results.
you must not have heard of the stock market

Worked out well simply cause Scandrick didn't look for the ball quite quick enough. Had he looked a little quicker then he would have picked that ball. He'll get his head around quicker, I believe, moving forward. I don't think too many people, in the future, will try testing him in that tight of coverage once he starts turning that head quicker and picking those.

Exactly what I was thinking as I read the OP. Good job.

my question is, what did Branch say to the camera afterwards?

"We might be getting ready to get blown out, but I gots my Touchdown catch, son."

That was an awesome throw by Hasselbeck. How did he fit that ball in there?

Scandrick had excellent coverage on the play. I couldn't believe the ball squeezed in there when I saw it the first time and then again on replay.

BTW, I am watching NFL Network right now.....and they are doing the Red Zone Rewind or whatever it is called. They just showed the play and once again, I am in awe of the accuracy of the throw.

It's a great throw when it's for a TD. It's an awful throw when it's picked off.
