That's what I want to know. Like I said on another thread, I hope this is a blessing in disguise. It is possible for somebody who's already on the roster to be a viable replacement, but seeing is believing.

If this team really is SB material, this should not be that big a setback.

It's like this every year.

Media folks have picked us to win the East for a couple of years now.

I know that most folks were penciling us in for the SB around Thanksgiving.

But every year we have a let down.

I think this first game will go a long way to determining how good we'll be.

It's a game on the national stage....against a division rival that we haven't been very good against lately....we have a bit of adversity with all of our injuries....

I think this game will tell us what we're made of.

I agree. But we haven't exactly started well the past few years. We were around .500 the last three years or so during the first Q of the season, right?

Anyway....this type of game is one that we've been folding on lately.
Both of last year's games vs Philly we folded.
The first Giant's game we folded.
The game vs the Saints we folded.

Games that could really give us a good start, or put us over the top seem to elude this team. And it seems that when we get in these games, we get our butt-kicked.

I really have no confidence in this game. I actually have more against the Bears. It's a game where we're expected to lose, so our guys won't feel pressure.

I'm not sure what's been missing....maybe it's toughness...maybe it's the fact the team was so uptight with BP....

While it would hurt in the beginning... we would ALL feel better at the end. A reversal would be great.

I hear ya.... but I really believe that Garrett is the key(which in turn makes ?TO the key and Barber the key and Witten the key and so on). We have some REAL money players. Garrett is playing high stakes(high scoring). I have confidence in him and the players.
