Deion Sanders fires back at Tony Romo's comment about his tackling **merged**

The difference is romo just stopped playing and only been a CBS analyst for a short period of time. So how can he start poking fun at players in the hall of fame when his overall career was not hall of fame material??
What? A commentator cannot comment about certain things because of... what?
This is stupid.

I am trying to figure what qualifies him to be a CBS play by play analyst. He can call out plays and read defenses in the booth but couldn't do it when he played in the game.

He was a professional football player and the networks like him. 1 + 1 = 2

Ok out of 48 games from 2011 to 2013 he started in 47. My mistake
No problem. But remember, the game he didn’t start was a pretty big deal... he didn’t get to “control his own destiny” in getting the team to playoffs. Instead, Orton and Garrett blew it. Since you are so hell bent on his “playoff record”; it seems disingenuous not to mention that.

Well Tony didn't even criticize him to be mean. Deion has even said this about himself. I've criticized Tony a lot but I think this is going too far. Tony was a good QB and knows a lot about football. A lot more than many of the talking heads proliferating on the networks.

He still played in 15 of them and the team was not in the playoffs so that 1 game he missed doesn't exempt him for having a horrible season.

Doesn't even matter. A color analyst's job is to bring color. This poster should be bagging on dudes on the mic that have never played the game 100 times harder than Romo, but whatevs.
He'll have some sort of response that satisfies no one.

He did not have a horrible season in 2013. 2013 was the season where the defense was one of the worst ever and gave up 400 yards a game. They lost 4 games where the offense scored 4 touchdowns or more.

He's a color commentator, not a play by play announcer. In any event, he is already the in that field.

...Deion can really act like a juvenile at times, but there's no denying...the man had talent!...check out this vid!
