Listening to Nate, said he talked to Deion at a Highschool game recently. They talked about corners and Deion said that Deangelo Hall was playing scared but a guy that is playing well right now. Nate said Deion told him that if T.O. doesn't bring his A Game and isn't physical, Harris will take him out of the game.

Nothing big, just wanted to pass that along.

Thanks for the info. Conversely, Harris had better be ready because if he's not, TO will barbecue his behind for four quarters.

It's a 2 way street. Good point.

Hopefully T.O plays physical, but I think they should worry about who covers Witten, Crayton (if he plays), Fasano (good catches), "TD"Curtis, Marion Barber, Heck even Julius can break out any game if given the chance. Got to love our offense.

Definitely a two way street but history has shown that TO does struggle with the physical corners...Wonder if he'll get the respect of the flag if there's too much going on out there

Yup, TO did have a great game against the packers DBs, including Harris when TO was with Eagles.

Yep, not many people believe it because T.O. has the big biceps and all, but he doesn't like it at all when he has someone in his face.

Maybe knowing that it's coming all week will prepare him for it, though.

The T.O. vs. Harris battle should be quite a battle to watch within the bigger battle......

Laufenberg preaches that every week, Owens hates being pressed. He did praise him for making the giants look foolish trying to do it two weeks ago.

I really dont think harris can play him one on one. I think it will lead to alot of penalties on harris thursday.

the thing I do worry about is the packers coming all out after romo, bracketing witten, one on one with crayton and owens and forcing the quick throw which is hard to convert with a guy hanging on you in the first five yards.

I worry about romo in that scenario. However, if we pick it up like we did against philly, they are dead in the water and we will have guys catching balls and walking into the endzone.

Traditionally, TO hates the press.

But like many things, this year seems to be different.

Every one of our division opponents tried to play him that way with physical corners like Sheldon Brown, Sam Madison and Shawn Springs, and he destroyed them all. The Jets did it too, with more success (Revis is stocky), but that's hard to measure because Owens could have been beating it, but with Romo's busted finger, maybe he couldn't get it to him.

When Garrett gets him in motion into the slot it will neutralize Harris's abiltiy to jam TO at the LOS........

I see all these other teams run quasi-designed Pik plays...........Seems Garrett and Wade would do well to incorporate...........very much timeing based

cant say i've seen the Zebras call them anymore than usual........

One more thing that could become a huge element to this game that i have not seen any reporter write about is what happens when you play man to man outside.

That means your corners are turning and running with their back to the qb and running back. So screen passes to jones/barber and hand offs to jone/barber could go for big yards. It would be a huge lift to have julius get consistently on the safeties and make them look into the backfield.

I think we can run right at them and if their corners backs are turned barber/jones may get through the first layer and turn outside for big chunks.

Man I cant wait for this game!

So Harris isn't accountable at all against TO's Catches/Yards/TDs. Does Harris' PD count with Zone D?

Also one of the advantages of lining him up in the slot, harder to press a guy from there
