Didn't see this posted anywhere, but thought it was an interesting note. A grade of "decent" coming from the greatest ever doesn't sound too bad.

For Sanders to call a Cowboys player whom he was also a teamate of "decent" means he is pretty bad, cause if he was really decent, Deion would be calling him good, if he was good Deion would say great, if he was great Deion would say Elite etc etc

I wouldn't read into that too much. If Dallas has to start him, then they are screwed.

The Ravens do always seem to produce good defensive players so maybe Deion is on to something.

I hope so because I am very afraid if Nate Jones gets on the field as the Nickel CB for an extended period of time.

If I remember correctly, Nate Newton was the one who said he talked to Deion and that Deion told him Oglesby was "decent", so I don't know if that word is Deion's or Nate's. The impression I got from Nate was that the kid might be able to play a bit, not that he was not any good.

lance frazier was the last raven we signed they cut, that was the last time we had a cb issue in 04.

Hopefully he will be a little better than frazier.

Frazier was forced to start, and as a nickel back he played pretty darn good since the only players we had were Roy and a young TNew.

I hope Oglesby will be a nice ST performer for us. Anything else is just gray

Reason #24567 why the season can't get here soon enough: Posts getting semantic on Deion.

I know he was undrafted then played with Ravens for 2 years but I was wondering if anyone seen him play or why he was let go. Seems like a guy that had a lot of playing time with a top D should have been a good player.

Sorry if this has been talked about before but I been on Vacation & been busy trying to get caught up on things since I been back.

Thanks
