On NFL Gameday Deion says Crayton has been one of the most consistent receivers the past several years and took too much grief for his one drop against the Giants in the playoffs. However, he says Roy won't be benched due to $$ and draft picks invested, but thinks Crayton should be on the field.

lol, Deion really, really hates Roy Williams

Maybe so, but Romo-Crayton is working out better than Romo-RW in the passing game. Plus, Crayton can run reverses, could theoretically be used to throw downfield whereas Roy is mostly just a receiver.

Roy is another guy that should be forced to sit till he heals. The guy couldn't stretch out much less dive for a pass all night...:bang2: :bang2:

I really don't think it matters in this offense whose #1 #2 or #3 WR. Most noticeable difference when WRs change depth order is fans crying.

I don't normally agree with Deion, but he may be right. But more wrong than Roy Williams being on the field in Crayton's stead, is Barber in lue of Tashard Choice, at least, half the time. Sorry; someone had to say it. Granted, the Falcons, like most teams the Cowboys have played this season, game planned to take away the run, but I have to believe that Choice could have done more with a few of those runs. I love the passion that Barber brings to the game, but he has been extremely inconsistent throughout this year. It is he that should be sprinkled in and Choice who should get the lions share, but that is just my opinion.

Deion is right, Roy needs to earn his spot back, right now he doesn't deserve it. I understand he might still be sore but he's dropped passes before being injured as well.

yep, I don't care who, how much, how many. Just get the W.

Actually, would be awesome if Witten, Choice, and/or Felix have monster games. Would really help me out in FF.

In this Offense it's just a title anyway.

Hey Deon, like stirring the pot much.

RW is still hurt.I dont think he was worth the trade by far, however Romo made some bad throws to him a few times too. They have bad chemistry.

Crayton is a slot receiver. That's all he ever will be. He excels there. Roy, when healthy, is a fine 1 or 2. We all (including Deion) know that Dallas runs enough 3 wr sets that Crayton is hardly losing playing time. Also, on the majority of the 2 wr sets, it's a run play anyway and all jokes aside - Roy is a better run blocker than Crayton.

Well, if Deion says it....

I think we all know the answer.

We have it right then, with Austin and Williams starting.
