Delayed Blitz against thisOL

Any reason why this OL is just awful at recognizing the delayed inside blitz that tends to get Romo killed? While it may be true that our OL is just average, I find it hard to believe that they don't have the skills to block a ILB. I can see us whiffing in space on pulls, because our line is huge, but letting LBs by has got to be a problem with communication.

While we more often than not blame players like Davis, maybe Gurode not directing the line but Kosier is, hurts this team more than expected, because he is the center and can tell the player next to him to actually ignore the double and watch the LB?

Any thoughts?

Cause this O-Line, as a unit, is absolutely awful.

I wouldn't be upset, at all, if Free were the only one back next year. I'm absolutely tired of the rest of them.

Why though?

It seems to be a communication issue. I've seen countless times where our guards double whomever Gurode is blocking, only to let the MLB come sailing right in. Who is the leader of the unit that tells the other OL to watch out for a particular player?

Where is the intelligence on the line?

BTW after re-watching the game, Free was pretty much owned.

That sucks. Hopefully it doesn't become common.

Either way, this offseason Dallas needs to upgrade the other side before anything.

Get a RT. If a stud LT is available, move Free back to RT.

Whichever puts the best players on the field. Taking a RT who would be less than Free at RT when an even comparable-to-Free LT is available is a disservice to the team. If that makes sense.

I'm not trying to say this is the whole problem, but I think that part of the problem with the OL is conditioning. Thinking back to when Parcells was here, he had the OL looking fit and trim. Now it seems they just look fat and slow. Maybe the next ramrod needs to send some of these guys to fat camp? I also think an infusion of youth would help make the line look better, but I don't know how realistic that is going to be at this time.
