Demarco played his butt off. I was impressed with his effort and how much he was involved in the overall run and passing game. He had 10 catches and 20 carries, that's a ton of work for the first game...should only get better.

In his presser JG said the coaching staff has emphasised getting to the ball from the first snap of OTA's last spring. Murray deserves a ton of credit for his effort on that play.

Having read and heard all about it now, I could definitely see instances of him running to contact and leaving yards on the field. There were a couple times he could have hit the jets and gotten to the corner but he went to contact instead.

Overall he was very good for us to day.
