Brian Baldinger nailed it! DeMarco's "vision" was clearly on display during this very play that almost made me spontanously combust when it transpired.

"In the 2nd half of the season, I think he's going to be the foundation to this offense." - Brian Baldinger

True!

really hope this guy doesn't let me down eventually. he looks like he can really, REALLY play.

I really love watching Demarco run right now, especially with the vision he has displayed.

DeMarco reminds me of McFadden. I think he and Felix will make a good tag team at RB if used right.

I hope JG don't screw this up like he did with Barber. Barber should have stayed as the closer and not the starter. Felix should be our 3rd down COP RB.

They offered Barber 25M for 5 years but his agent and him refused. He eventually signed for 45M for 7 years. You can't pay that much money for a part-time RB. He priced himself out of that role.

I'm really not a fan of the running back by committee thing. Take your best back and ride that pony.

Great blocking on that play.

Indeed! I was hoping someone would notice. :p: The oline is slowly coming together. That's the young mobile studs who are becoming more and more of a complete functional unit with every passing week. They're growing together in the trenches and are now excited to have a RB like DeMarco making them look spectacular. It goes both ways.

To reiterate what I said before the season began, strong move by the coaching staff to get rid of the old & busted and go with the brand new hotness on the oline. It may not have looked so hot in week one but the season is a marathon not a sprint. ;)

Garrett is finally implementing more finesse schemes into his game plans and it fits what our OL can do.

Something I suggested in the Pre-season...

It's nice to know the guy is so humble. He actually exists on the opposite end of the spectrum from the last RB I supported so vehomently. :p: That said, Felix is NOT still the starter...

The first move off the first plant of his left foot is just jaw dropping good.

Indeed. My jaw was definitely on the floor.

I watch that left foot plant over and over again and it reminds me why only a select few annualy earn the right to play in the NFL. Wouldn't it be great to be in that zone where everything in front of you slows down to the point of being able to easily navigate through it..

Why do you have to dog Felix? The guy has been a good solid football player. He never complains about his role always does what he is asked to do and is a very humble person himself who also does a lot of kids in the community. It's the very opposite of the last guy you supported to a fault. I hope when Felix comes back and tears it up to shut people like you who dog him so bad.

Actually, I wasn't specifically "dogging" Felix. I was stating that he will not be the starter when he returns. He will play a nice complimentary role and produce for the team in different more limited manner. He is ever so slight and (as I have stated numerous times before) has yet to prove on the college or pro levels that he can carry the rock full time for a full season. He didn't have to do so in college. They had a great 1 - 2 punch. At the NFL level, the Cowboys asked him to try and he has failed miserably. I like the guy but just not as a 30 carry RB for the team. I see him working perfectly as a change of pace to DeMarco with some special teams and perhaps some slot action in his future. A screen pass to the slot with Felix lined up and some blockers in front of him would be fun to watch regularly. Why does the prospect of him not being the starter get you so twisted?

Yes, he's McFadden with better vision and he breaks tackles better.

Twisted? Hardly. I don't care who starts I does not matter to me at all. I just dislike people putting a good player down for no reason. He didn't fail miserably either. He was making things happen out of nothing. He had TF for one game and had over 100 yards. So don't give me that crap. He is a good football player who is a "team" player. Dog on someone who complains about his role not someone who will do what is asked of him and best for the team. May I remind you when thia team won its playoff game in 09 they rode felix and last year to the 5-3 record they rode Felix again. He has proved to be more then a cOP or 3rd down back. Show a bit more respect. Every thread you start about Murray you always take a shot at Felix.

:laugh2:

I'll show respect when glass man proves that he can hold up for longer than a few weeks at a time. Until then, Enjoy that vision. It's nice to know that he's a team player. That should easily translate to filling those auxillary roles very well. ;)

I'm still ticked that Jerruh drafted him in the third! :banghead:

Do you realize who we passed up?

Rue is me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait until we get a REAL GM!!! :bang2:

I wish that I could defend that pick, but I can't. Jerry's spin on that selection should be interesting.
