Unbelievable display of effort and hustle. After sprinting at least 75 yards, he completely trucks JPP, which is a feat in itself. He somehow manages to keep his balance and then manages to get the ball carrier to the ground. Without a doubt, the play of the night.

You cannot start a thread of this nature without video proof. I need proof. Actually, I just want to see the play again. ;)

Murray does deserve props for that. Helluva play. He had trouble with balance all night, but not on that play. Kudos to the defense for stopping them too.

Absolutely! It shows incredible effort and hopefully it's partly due to coaching.

Check out Doug Free chasing the play also. Pretty quick for a big guy, but I quess you could look at it as if he was more than likely in the backfield from the d-lineman shoving him backwards, so he probably had a 15 yard head start on the play anyhow. But major props to Murray for the tackle. It was a game changer.

Oh, the other positive I saw on one of the Giants' big plays was how fast Wilcox is. He almost caught Cruz coming from a LONG ways off. Dude has wheels.

It was a great play, no doubt...But im going to be "that guy" and complain about Murray. I love the way he finishes runs and he always gives it his all BUT....He has a serious case of Tunnel vision. He doesnt let the play develop and sometimes misses out on some holes or an opportunity to cut back and gain some yards. Instead Murray lowers his head and looks for contact. He is still a good running back i just want to see him break some long runs and get into the open field. I am still optimistic about Murray. he also has great hands and made some nice plays catching the ball out of the backfield.

I dunno, I always laugh when he completely trucks a bigger defender. The guy is one angry runner. I agree, some of his decisions are suspect but what the hey, I just enjoy watching Demarco be Demarco.

Impressive play indeed. Eerily similar to the Tyron Smith hustle play from last year's week 1 game against the Giants. Held them to a FG in that situation as well.

It was a 4 point play. When you put out the effort ..... Good things often happen.

I agree with most. Lots of hustle & it was a great play on his part.

I see now what we are missing when he's not out there.

I probably need to check the tape, but Romo did try to "get in the way" as well... it's a fine line for a quarterback to walk as the worst thing he can do is get lit up by a gigantic defensive lineman (this has happened to comedic effect over the years to quarterbacks on interceptions). If Romo even slowed him down a little bit, it obviously made a difference... even though I was screaming at him to get out of the way.

He definitely plays faster than he timed.
