Demarcus deserves a lot of credit

Just want to make sure that Demarcus' 2 gigantic plays don't get overshadowed. On 2nd and 8, needing a stop in the worst of ways, he comes through like usual and sacks Smith for a loss of eight, essentially killing the drive and forcing them to punt.

In OT, the play where he covered Gore in the flats was remarkable. Smith had locked in on Gore and once he was covered, he froze and was dropped for a sack, once again killing the drive.

He destroyed 2 SF drives when we needed it most. Thank God for Demarcus.

D. Ware played like a beast and led with his actions out there on a bunch of plays. Especially the one where he peeled off the blitz to cover Gore and Smith got crushed by J. Rat. Sean Lee is everywhere.

I want to give some serious props to Kowalski. Dude stepped in during the heat of the battle and held his own pretty well. Good for him.

You apparently don't know that DWare only comes up with good plays when it doesn't matter.

I think this is the year he breaks that single-season sack record and finally wins DPOY (should be for the 2nd time). To me, the only OLB in the history of the game that can say he was as good as/better than Ware is LT - and I'm not sure LT was better. That's not hyperbole either. Ware is a dominant pass-rusher and excellent against the run. He can also cover when asked to do so. He's an all-time great and we are truly blessed to be watching him and Witten at the same time on this team. I pray they get at least one ring. They are both phenomenal players that are class acts and deserve that kind of success.

I said twice this past week that Demarcus comes out of the game with 4 or 5 cumulative sacks. I'll take being overly optimistic on the fifth when he blows up the safety valve to Gore to let someone else get theirs.

His second sack has to be the work of Ryan - he was completely unaccounted for and got a free path to the QB. I can't remember the last time I've seen DeMarcus go unblocked like that.

IF Jerry would of shored up our secondary like he should of (but he didn't, and bringing back to former players isn't shoring up #$#$) this defense would be tops easily in the NFL.
