DeMarcus Lawrence Continues To Work His Way Back Coming Off Suspension

FRISCO, Texas – Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence continued to work his way back into practice Thursday after completing his four-game NFL suspension.

The Cowboys have a roster exemption for Lawrence until Monday, but they must move him to the active roster by Saturday if they plan for him to play Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Head coach Jason Garrett said Lawrence had limited participation Wednesday, his first practice with the team since his suspension took effect at the end of preseason.

“He obviously was suspended for the first four weeks, and then the other part of it was he was dealing with a back injury,” Garrett said. “He did limited work yesterday and did a good job with that work and hopefully he can progress as the week goes on.”

Lawrence had back surgery in January but was a full participant by training camp.

Something does not seem right about his back. Mickey mentioned it yesterday on the Cowboys Break show. Hope he can get it going soon, that defence needs him.

If D'Law is unable to go, then its time for:
LDE - T. Crawford
1DT - T. McClain
3DT - Collins
RDE - Ryan Davis

If DLaw can't go, we better hope Dak & co. get ready to hang 40-50 on the Beagles D bc without Tank, our Defense has no shot WHATSOEVER of stopping that Bengals offense. The thought of our non-existent pass rush trying to get after The Gingerbread Man aka Andy Dalton scares the **** out of me, i mean AJ "The Superhuman Superfreak of Nature" Green literally might go for 350 n 3 scores, not to mention Jeremy Hill and Gio Bernard running the ball...
