He's taller. I'm not sure he's bigger. I know he was up in the 280s before joining the team, but I thought he'd dropped back into the 260s. Griffen is listed at 273 on nfl.com.

Could be the height, though. At 6-6, Smith can force the QB to have to throw over him and is pretty good at batting down passes.

Agreed. Exactly what I was thinking. Has probably to do because of Aldon's height why he was placed inside.
