Doesn't seem very explosive or fast, but has good change of direction. Sheds blocks and uses his hands well. Looks like he could play LB to me. Definitely more of a 3-4 end than a 4-3 end.

WOW the lack of knowledge is unreal here sometimes. 3-4 ends must be 285+ pounds lawrence is 250.

I don't know that first step got him on the OT shoulder and clubbing pretty quick. I really think the framerate of those videos does the kid a disservice cause he looks to have a near elite first step to me on the game long play by plays I was looking at. He isn't Jason Taylor or Demarcus Ware but he is only one notch below that level to my eyes.

I also don't see the LB idea either. He had his best success when he had his hand in the dirt and stayed low. He would get sloppy when he was whooping on bad tackles like against WY but for the NFL I think he will be best keeping with what he has been doing.

As much as we all want the next D Ware, I think it's important to recognize that franchises are lucky to get a guy like him once in a decade. While the organization should strive to find the next supreme rusher, if we can just get a good, deep rotation going, that will really help a lot.

And I agree with you that he seems better with hand in dirt. He just needs some time to gain weight and strength (like most prospects). Let's hope he's got a great work ethic.
