I know we’re beating a dead horse with a stick here, but what’s the point of paying this man 105mil and then make him change the way he plays?

DLaw has been a ghost and if he’s publicly stating that standing up presnap is changing his style that got him to be a 100m player, and it’s not as smooth/comfortable for him then what the heck is Nolan doing?!

This is so Cowboys, this kind of debacle is the very definition of Cowboys.

And we're stuck with him.

Dallas is 2 or 3 years away..

We really need quality draft picks more than anything and I don't know how trading Zeke would impact the cap but we need to find a way to trade him for compensation because there is no point of having him on this team. He's a luxury.

Trade him for a solid corner, draft pick, anything.

Convenient excuse, Alden Smith said the same thing. I don’t recall Dlaw being that much better last year. Do any of these players ever take responsibility?

These guys are an embarrassment, but our biggest problem right now is clearly the LBs. Smith has no clue what he’s doing. LVE does, but no longer has the physical tools to do it. We basically have no second layer now.

DLaw, Zeke, and Jaylon have outs on their deals after 2021. Any talk of releasing or trading them is a waste of time coz no way hell Jerry or Stephe will consider it. But what I would do is find solid competition ( possible future replacement) for all three and put open their jobs during the offseason.

Everyone keeps saying trade this guy or that guy. Who wants Dlaw at that contract price? No one.

I don't think we can trade D Law. I think the move is cutting him after 2021.

I think we can get out of the Jaylon Smith deal as well.

Amari Cooper deal looks awful too.

At least Amari catches the ball. He's definitely still injured, but the guy quietly goes about his job. We might not like that he's not in the game at times, but he's just not saying that he's got a chronic injury.

Another guy who got paid and lowered his intensity on the field but not on twitter.

He is supposed to be a difference maker. He's a JAG most games.

They’re not doing their homework, but what else is new?

There’s no way the team could afford the dead cap hit with these bad contracts. We’re stuck with them for two more years at a minimum.

The idea that DLAW doesn't play hard is still the absolute dumbest thing on this board.

He cashed out the day he cashed in. Suckered this team and took advantage of other misses like Greg Hardy, Crawford, and Taco.

The contracts handed out are truly indicative of Jerry’s football acumen. RB,WR,war daddy DE, injured LB but let the CB walk. Says a lot about this teams management, yet some still defend these signings. The Cowboys are a hot mess and that’s not going away because of these contracts. They’d be better off starting from scratch than continuing down this road.

….but what about the other mess on offensive or defense?....too many guys that shouldn't be on this team at all. Too easy to point at the "money guys"....too easy. We simply don't have a team....but a serious drop off in complimentary players or depth. That's the problem. There is no backfill anywhere and there ain't no speed on this team. They are soft!!!!
