Screw that. I don't want him acting like a thug out there alah Joey Porter.

Good guys can be great defensive players too. Give me Derrick Thomas over any of these loud mouth thugs any day of the week. :)

Derrick's 11 kids and 5 girlfriends endorse this thread.

i really hate your sig....Vince is a smart guy....he is just not the best public speaker...but give him a break he came from the Houston ISD and was a pampered athlete growing up.

unlike shawn kemp, willie anderson, larry bird, and so forth.....at least Thomas tried to take care of his little "LOVE" children....unfortunately, he died so young.

he isnt dick butkus or jack lambert.......he doesnt need to resort to alterior tactics to get his point across or the job done.

No, I insist, he needs to keep a shank in his tugs and when the time is right; Ware should shank the QB after a sack. We need him penitentiary mean because two sacks and two fumbles is not good enough.

Ware is the best and I'm happy that he'll be with us for many years. He may not be the best pass rusher in the NFL but he is definitely the best defensive player because he can do everything and has no weaknesses. I just wishes he was a little bit meaner on the field but that's just not who he is.

Ask David Thomas if Ware is mean.

I forget what quarter it was, but after a run play, Ware got all up in his grill and Thomas looked like he didn't want any part of Demarcus.

edit: If you have NFL Rewind, check the 3rd Quarter with 7:44 left.

God is good, he allowed my boy D-Ware to make it through the game without any setbacks and on top of it had a monster game!

...when he sniffed out the screen play and held tight to the back causing Brees to throw the ball into the ground.

Thomas was my boy in college, but last night, he was getting on my last nerve. Good to see Ware put him in his place.

Brooking played that one well also. Brees was stuck in no man's land on that play.
