I tell you what

if it was a backyard family bbq he would go down as a legend and they'd talk about how uncle D couldve been the next Johnny Gill but decided to be the first Demarcus Ware
If he sang at one of our family reunions they would have given him a blanket party with bars of soap in socks

I love/respect D-Ware, but he hurt himself. That was bad. Kudos for trying, but someone should have saved him. You have producers who listen to one sing our anthem months ahead of time to see if you are televised worthy. They should have found someone else. My apologies if I upset anyone, especially D-Ware.

I'm a huge DeMarcus Ware fan but that doesn't prevent me from seeing his rendition of the national anthem was horrible and downright disrespectful to what it represents. I think that was intentional by the people that made the decision to allow him to do it in the first place.

well he is a pro football hall of famer not rock and rock hall of famer

jk it was ok i herd worse national anthem from pro singer before
Worst I’ve ever heard was Carl Lewis singing the anthem before an NBA game. It was so bad Charles Barkley was laughing so hard he had tears coming out. Pretty funny clip. But respect to Ware having the courage to do it. Ware always represented the Cowboys and the NFL in a great way, truly a good ambassador of the game.

Beautiful considering the reason he did it

He and Demariyus Thomas used to sing it together before games. DT died in 2022 and he wanted to honor him by singing it.
Ah, that’s cool. Good for him. That makes me respect him even more for doing it. I bet that meant a lot to Thomas’s family. Good job Ware, again proving to be a hall of fame person as well as a hall of fame player.

How is it disrespectful when he did it to honor a deceased teammate who loved to sing the anthem with him?

was Rosanne Barr not available? But seriously, at least he had the guts to try. More than I could've have done. He gets an A for effort.

Hi

this is a mess but I can tell there’s probably a good singer underneath it all. I think Carl was worse man lol.
If you think he’s a good singer underneath, you must not have been raised listening to a Baptist gospel choir :D

but like I said I give him props for putting himself out there

The good news is the viewership for that was low.

The bad news is social media.

It was really bad, but the reason he did it was honorable and I respect that. For some, the reason he did it won't matter, they will just ridicule him because somehow it makes them feel better about themselves. For others, it makes us feel a little bit better seeing that the human side of the player is All Pro as well.

I’m not familiar with Sr I just know who his sons Omar and Cuba are. He just did a lot but he has a good career it looks like musically.
