Every one needs to kill some time during until training camp. DeMarcus Ware killed some of his by appearing on ESPN's SportsNation.

The four-man panel was playing an either/or game when a question regarding the Cowboys and quarterback Tony Romo came up.

But what else is he and the other players supposed to say? It's the offseason and for most, fans and players alike, optimism abounds. They have to believe that THIS is the year they get over the hump even if no one else doesn't.

He could go the JG route, "We're working hard. It's a process. Better everyday. We'll see how it goes. Got a good group of guys." Yada, yada, yada.

Or he can make a declaration like this... so fans have something to latch on and can go, "Heck yeah, Ware! Let's go!"

He's basically forced into saying it. But then again, count your blessings, I'd rather have Ware, Romo and Witten talking the same "hard work, determination blah. blah blah" garbage every year than have a guy like Cromartie that would say we're not going to make the playoffs lol

Absolutely! Everyone's excited about their chances during this time of year and recent history has proven that any team can make a run. So why not say something to fire up the fan base.
