I think that Demarcus ware had one of his best outings so far this year. The guy was all over the field, and constantly hurrying the QB. Did anyone see the play where he litterally pushed through the biggest player in the league. he overpowered the lineman on that play and for much of the game. With his quickness and strength.....the Sky is the Limit! I think he is officially the pass rusher we have been waiting for

That was an AMAZING play, bull rushing Leonard Davis who probably outweighs him by 100 pounds.

Ware had somethinglike 7 quarterback pressures for the game and was solely responsible was Anthony Henry's interception.

He had a great game.

Yep, credit Ware for the first defensive TD of the year. Nice catch and run by henry after the pick.

I was more impressed against the run. He took on his blocker every time, and forced the play back inside, just like he is supposed to do. He had trouble with run recognition and defense earlier this year. He's added that to his arsenal of skills. Great outing by him.

The play on Davis, and his attacking of blockers definately proved one thing, this kid is incredibly strong. He is going to be scary next year.

ABSOLUTELY! a lot of good pass rushers in the league can do ONLY that...passrush. They just run up the field every play looking for the sack. I saw Freeney do that the entire game against the Rams. Didn't see him play any run. I haven't seen enough of him to make a judgement like that overall though.
Besides bullrushing a guy that outweighs him by at least 100 pounds, and the one forcing the INT, the D-Ware play that stands out to me is the one in the second half where he stood his man up and pushed him straight back into the backfield about 1 yard and a half completely cutting off the RB from running outside, this allowed Brady James to come flying in and SMACK the RB BIGTIME for a 2 yard loss.
Kid is becoming a complete player in a big way. Right now I like him more than the draft picks I wanted at the time: BMW & DJ.

ghost, totally agree. That in fact was one of the plays I was thinking about. He blew the play up. Arizona got no big runs this game period. The longest run at Ware, if I remember correctly, was like 3 yards

I actually didn't think he played all that great. He was pretty good for the most part. What I did like is that he got off to a rough start and stuck with it to play much better in the second half.

Exactly what I was going to say, Rich... Ware was pretty much invisible in the first half, but he stuck to his guns and kept fighting, and finally started wearing on Davis to where he became a factor.

And he said in the postgame that the bye week wasn't for resting, it was for working and studying even more. Got to love that attitude. :D

I would love to see Ware win DROY, but the voters are stat-oriented folks. Unless he is able to get 10+ sacks, I don't see him getting the award.

I think he surely can get 10+ sacks, but he's already being double-teamed. I don't think he'll get six sacks the second half of the year. I would think that seven or eight is his mark.

I'm just happy we drafted an impact player. He's made a huge difference on our defense already, and he's still learning the position.

Yeah, Ware only had two tackles, according to ESPN's stat sheet. After only seeing the last hour of the game, I was shocked at how those stats completely miss his impact on the game. The Cardinals were not successful running against him, and he was a definite factor in the passing game, despite not getting a sack. I'm excited about the development of him and the rest of the DL. As Spears and Canty develop, offenses won't be able to simply double team Ware.

Look out for this team's improvement by the time we reach the playoffs. This year, Dallas is definitely a Super Bowl contender!!!

Yep, I've never understood why they don't list pressures on the statlogs. As one of the announcers said today, I'll take 10 pressures over a sack any day. We had ALOT of pressures today. Defense looks sharp.
