I love D-Ware, but he hasn't even been beating his one-on-one matchups. It's one thing to disappear when you're being double teamed, but he's just getting his *** handed to him in his on-on-one battles.

Not at all thrilled with this team right now.

Teams are running a lot of 3 step drops against us too and getting the ball out quick.

Once teams are forced to pass downfield the sacks will come.

The pressure is there though.

30th in total defense is just baffling as well. WTH??? one week they can't stop Tampa Bay's rushing attack, last night they're awesome against big Brandon Jacobs but they couldn't cover anyone. This team is totally confusing as to what they deliver from week to week.

This is the week in which they don't stop the run or the pass. Jake Delhomme will go from goat to Pro Bowl discussions over night.

Actually, I thought it was pretty witty, and befitting of our current situation.

i believe the single biggest reason for Ware's lack of sack production has to do with the other guys on the DL.

teams are chipping him like crazy and dedicating massive attention to him b/c they don't respect the pressure from the other side, and so far Spencer isn't giving a reason for it.

the other part is that when Ware is 1 on 1 he does a good job of blowing around his guy. however the QBs are able to easily step up in the pocket b/c there is not enough push up front to keep him back.

then if the coverage is good enough to keep the QB holding the ball our guys lose contain and they can find an open spot to get rid of the ball.

so i don't really think it's a question of what's going on with D-ware, it's just another factor of the lack of production by the front 7 overall

No sacks and no turnovers in the first 2 weeks. This after finishing almost last in the league last year in turnovers. We have some serious problems on D.

Ware needs to step his game up, along with everyone else in the front 7.

I think they did step there game up from the Tampa game. Anyone see Ratliff blowing people up. DWare didn't have a sack but he had 6 tackles, not too bad...more than anyone on the Giants D-line. Olshansky was much improved.

DWare has set a high standard for himself, so we expect him to dominate everygame. Hopefully he can get a bunch next week.

Ware's sacks will come. I have no doubt about this. But while he's drawing the majority of the attention we're going to need Spencer and James and others to step it up and start getting sacks as well.
