Anyone know how many QB pressures, and hits he had today? He didnt get credited with a sack but he was all over the place today, as he always is!

all i know is that he was all over the place today, and that tipped pass where he jumped what seemed like 10 feet high was a great play

it's just one of those games where the box score tells you absolutely nothing about how he played.

Dang near jumped up for another Int, as he did last yr in Atlanta, for a TD

B. McKinnie is a fine tackle, bet he had near double digit pressures.....

Love Ware. I think he needs to learn to wrap up on the QB instead of just grabbing at him. That last one where you thought he had the sack. He did not wrap up on Jackson and let him escape from the tugs on his waist.

Ellis wraps up and bear hugs the QB when he is that close. Notice that last sack he had on Jackson?

HUGE BEAR HUG !!

Normal mode: He must have had four or five pressures, at the very least. He played very well.

Chicken little mode: What's wrong with this guy. Last year he would have been able to wrap up on those close sacks. He would have caught that interception. Has he lost a step? Was he taking steriods to keep up with Merriman last year, and now he has quit? What's wrong? Our defense can't tackle, I've never seen a team miss more easy tackles in my life. Ware is no exception.

So you are saying he should not wrap up if he is close.

Gotchya !! :lmao: Forget just how much you know.

sacks for Dline and LBS are like INTs for DBs. Sometimes they do NOT tell the whole story.

Ware is an all-pro...he is good at every phase of the game....

the only possible complaint I could see anyone having is maybe a need to "finish" some of these pass rushes....he gets VERY close alot...

but the guy IS a stud on the field

Ware was a beast in this game, the only thing I wish he would had did is wrap up the QB, if he does that he has 2 sacks.

Minnesota has one of the best offensive lines in football no joke and Ware was still getting pressure.

I wonder if he doesn't need to slow down a little once he turns the corner on the OL. He looks like he just can't turn it back in enough. Of course the QB is stepping up at times. Asking not suggesting.

He doesn't have an inside move and he is still dominant.

Kind of reminds me of Freeny from time to time when he blows by the OT and all the QB has to do is step up.

When 1 of 2 things happen he will be unblockable:

1. Learns an inside rush technique.
2. We get pressure from the inside gaps.

You either have tons of security safekeeping rubbish or no security protecting a diamond. Jackson was so horrible he didn't deserve a line blocking like that for him.

Statistically, Vikings are 20th in Sacks allowed. Its not one of the best, I cant really speak for how much of that is cause of rubbish QBing.

If we could get pressure from the inside Ware will be almost unstoppable.

Demarcus is a bad bad man. He is a baaaad man. Like you guys have said, if some of those "close" pressures start becoming sacks, watch out.

He's a monster, and he does absolutely everything. Not only did he pressure the QB and help on the run, he almost had another spectacular interception. He really does it all.
