den came back and beat houton

Final nail for Kubiak as well, I bet. This was the season for Houston fans and he isn't getting it done down there.

How does this help?

Houston winning would have helped.

Now, they have the same record as the Cowboys and if the season ended in a tie, Houston would pick ahead of the Cowboys because they lost to us this season.

Meanwhile, Denver is still ahead of the Cowboys in the draft because even with this win, their record is worse than ours.

Texans play the jags next week, they will probably lose that and stay ahead of us.

It's based on SOS, not head to head if more then two teams finish with the same record. Before this weekend, Dallas and Houston had the same record yet we picked ahead of them.

Not only that but it obviously helps us that Denver (and Cincinnati to boot) are 4-11 and catchable.

Our strength of schedule is quite a bit lower than Houston's.

draft pick getting higher?;)

ten teams with 5 or fewer wins, not including Minnesota. Dallas won't have six wins, so they have an excellent chance to draft in the first five picks.

The Texans may never make it to the playoffs ever.

They are a good coach away from being an elite team, that team is loaded with talent, kubiak can start the job search, he is done. If cowher takes that job, lookout for the texans in the upcoming years.

Don't count your chickens before they've hatched. The Eagles may not have anything to play for next weekend if they lose on Tuesday as the Bears will have clinched the #2 seed.

There is no way the eagles are losing to the vikings, now that the bears won today, and the packers are alive for a playoff spot, good chance that if the eagles win next week, they get the two seed.

I suppose but Cinci just creamed the Chargers. Anything can happen and that's why they play the games.

The Chargers are 8-7. It's not like the Bangles were heavy underdogs.

I'm guessing we end up with the 7th pick.

The Chargers are a funny team - world beaters one week and also-rans the next.
