If it's not bad enough to be playing the best offense in the league this week, but next week vs. WAS with two weeks to rest and prepare for us in a key divisional game. I hope we can at least split.

So if we lose to Denver we go to 2-3, then if Washington comes in here and does what they did last year, we are then sitting at 2-4 with Washington sitting in first place more than likely. Let's hope that scenario doesn't play out. As bad as Washington is, I don't think we are much better. We only beat the 0-4 Giants and parhetic Rams.

Let's try to revive some sack in Cowboys Nation. We are 18-6 when the other team is coming off their bye week. We have defeated the Commanders 62 times, 4 times more than any other team. 35 of those times the game was played in our house. Last year was the only team they have won in our new house. We are atop the NFC East. They have 1 win over a hapless Raiders team whose only win was against the worst team in the entire NFL, Jacksonville. We have scored more points than the Commanders. We have allowed fewer points than they have. They have the 30th ranked Defense in the entire NFL.

I think it's okay to put on the big boy undies on this one.
