I only whip out my mock once a year:

Dallas Trades picks #19 and #81 to Arizona for Pick #15

15. Derwin James S Florida State

50. Anthony Miller WR Memphis

116: Fred Warner, OLB, BYU

137: Deadrin Senat, DT, South Florida

171: Brandon Parker, OT, North Carolina A&T

173: Korey Robertson, WR, Southern Miss

193: D'Ernest Johnson, RB, South

208: Drue Tranquill, S, Notre Dame

236: Greg Pyke, OT/G, Georgia

I really like James as a game changing SS,we would have a problem at FS though if they move Byron to CB.we will have a logjam at SS and nobody really to play FS.

I disagree with this,James is most lethal close to the LOS.His blitzing, cutting off screens and tackling screams SS.

True, but he has great coverage skills & has no problem playing center field. His sideline-to-sideline speed is elite. You can always bring him closer in run downs. We have Frazier and Woods we can use in the SS spot.

I think Woods could be the FS. Ive always seen him more as a FS than a SS.

To me James is a SS. As a SS he is about as rounded as the come in terms of the ability to play close to the LOS and attack, and the ability to play sideline to side. Transformative player in the secondary at SS. Pretty good FS

I think Ronnie Harrison will be available on 2nd round but we need to trade up on 2nd round to take it,
My scenario if the cowboys dont want to select a DT with the first round.
Trade down with Saint give or 19 (875) for 27, 91 and 127 picks (861) that give us, one 1st round pick, one 2nd round pick, two 3rd round picks, tree 4th round picks, two 5th round picks, two 6th round picks a one 7th round pick, with a total of 12 picks,

with the first round pick I select:
27: Rashaan Evans LB,
in the secound round trade up with patrions, take the 41 pick and give the 81, 116 this year and a 3th round pick next year,
41: Ronnie Harrison S.
50: Tim Settle DT
91: Antonio Callaway WR
127: Desmon Harrison OT
137: Scoot Quessenberry G
171: Tyler Conklin TE
173: Kentavius Street DT
193: Kyle Fitts DE
208: Nyheim HInes RB
236: Jack Cichy LB

This ain't bad. Not bad at all.

My only concern is Evans. Can he play inside? I think he's an outside guy, we already have Lee and frankly, I think Smith is eventually going to be a WILL, especially if we have a new staff in a year after Garrett bombs out.
