I wouldn't mind having him in our QB stable next season. The kid is a athlete!! Runs and moves well, throws with good accuracy, strong arm, poised, plays with heart and alot of confidence..

Hes playing in a spread offense and doesn't have the prototypical size for the NFL.

Jebus...did you guys see that bomb Mallett(?) just threw. That 6'7" kid has one hell of an arm.

If we ran a spread offense i would say heck yes, but for what we do i just don't think he's shown that he could be successful.

But hey, we could get another QB to make into a WR?

That Oregon WR, #4........6'5", 240lbs and can fly.

Now that I wouldn't mind seeing with a star on his helmet.

Another Stanback hater...

Are you related to Edunce?

Spread offense or not, this kid can play. Has all the tools, makes good reads and throws the deep ball extremely well. If he isn't in a spread offense, doesn't mean he loses all his skills. He's young with tons of room to learn and grow..

This offense has a ton of talent on it.

I have to say, the PAC-10 looks to have a pretty deep talent pool right now.

I agree Mansta, Dixon looks like he could develop into a pretty solid QB. It's not like all great pro qb's came from pro style offenses in college.

Hes bulked up quite a bit this year, last season he looked like freaking stretch armstrong for the ducks.

I know right!! Guys are killing me with that "spread offense" noise. The kid has skills with tons of room to grow.

Let him prove it for more than a game or two. He was benched at the end of last season with 4 games to play IIRC.

Not at all, i think Stanback will be awesome, i was just making the statement that we already have 2 old QBs at WR, why not another.

Another one of those? What's that suppose to mean? I mean draft him as a late round QB and bring him along slowly as a QB.

Please, Michigan makes them all look like that.

Any athletic QB running a spread offense vs Michigan= career day.

What? He has the size... let's get that out of the way...

We'll see where he lands at the end of the season... he has some talent...
