If you guys hate Parcells right now, check out what Dennis Green is doing in Arizona. He makes our QB situation look downright stable. :)

i disagree. green i think is doing the right thing for his team in looking at all of his qbs. green is totally evaluating his team the right way. he know mccown was not worth playing for the whole season. also king is a career backup. now the third qb he has is a michigan qb who i think can be a good qb two years down the road. the cardinals are awlful and green knows it he is finding out which players he can build with. it will interesting if the owner of the cardinals lets green spend the money to go after a good qb either in the draft or free agency.

I'm a Dennis Green fan but I think he really scewed up like Parcells. Green went into the season with 3 unproven QB's on the roster yet he placed all his faith into McCown. Green knew he had a major deficiency in QB yet he went with McCown which was a major blunder. This reminds of Parcells decision to go with Troy Hambrick despite knowing he had a deficiency at RB.

And like Parcells drafted Julius Jones, I wouldn't at all be suprised to see Green select a QB in the first round. The Cardinals have a very good defense, good receivers and a decent offensive line. QB has been the problem with that team as it was apparent today with Navarre's 4 interceptions. Navarre just looked awfull and it went beyond reading defenses and adjusting to the pace of the game. Unlike Drew Henson, Navarre just didn't look capable of making many of throws. I watched that entire game and his arm is suspect and he showed no ability to put touch on the ball.

You have to give Dennis Green the benefit of the doubt. Look at what he did in Minny for a decade. All that success with Qbs like Salisbury, Gannon, Cunningham, and Brad Johnson is quite an accomplishment.

I am sure he will get his backfield for next year, and with that physical young defence, watch out for the Cards in '05.

I think he is the right coach in Arizona and he has done a fine job overall but he mismanaged the QB situation there, but I think even Green himself will acknowledge that. Look for him to get two QB's next season; a vet and a first round rookie.

Never understood why Denny did not try to get a decent (does not have to be great) QB during the offseason.

But now it seems he is trying to see what he has....maybe he is doing so to make sure the ownership will spend this offseason on a QB...his way of saying we have this and this but we need this.

Either way I was never impressed with J.Navarre at michigan and I doubt he will ever be anything more then a second string QB at best in the NFL.
