Sheeeeeeeeeeeesh! I didn't realize how bad the Broncos have become. To boot, they're in the running for the number one overall draft pick, but they have to give it to Seatle! This is the worst I've ever seen the Broncos play, and I lived in Denver for 17 years.

I can't believe how poorly Russell Wilson has played this year.

but dude has been sacked 43 times. has to be the OL. HE's got two good WRs in Jeudy & Sutton, but not much of a run game or TE.

Too bad Denver sold the farm to get him... things in Denver are unlikely to improve any time soon

No, he's played bad even considering that.

Wilson is and always has been a limited QB, period. Yes, he's worse now due to age/injury, but he's never been the HOFer they tried to make him out to be.

He did really well when he had a great O-line protecting him and a superb running game that included Marshawn Lynch. Plus, he was younger. You're right. He's never been elite. In Seattle, he was a good quarterback who could make good things happen if surrounded by an excellent team.

Due to height limitations, Russell must have a good running game and good deep WRs. He basically has to take a 7-10 step drop every down just so he can see the field. Short passes are not his game and never will be.

Carroll knew this and set up the O accordingly. I've watched DEN a couple times, and from what I saw the O is set up completely wrong for him. Guess they were stupid enough to buy into all that HOF hoopla.

That's exactly it. They overpaid for a good, not great quarterback, and then expected him to adapt to the system they wanted to run, instead of setting up a system specifically for his abilities. The 49ers have been playing way smarter. I don't believe for an instant that the likes of Jimmy Garoppolo and Brock Purdy are great quarterbacks. The 9ers are a great team, and those QBs are good, not great. They've adapted their system to make them prosper. Frankly, that's what the Cowboys did in 2016 for their rookie QB, Dak. We had a great O-line and running game them, but our offense had to shelve numerous plays that were designed for Romo, and his ability to improvise. With Romo out, they figured out what Dak could do well, and played to those strengths.

Randy Gregory has been a huge disappointment for them as well. He went psycho again in the game vs the Rams.

Which is what happens to druggies. They get stupid and go psycho.

The previous owners of the broncos put too much faith in horseface to save the franchise. He drafted:

Osweiller
Tebow
Cutler
Lynch
Siemian
Lock
