Denver Couldn't Be Dumber

They just gave up next years 1st for the #37.
A #2 this year has a #1 value the following year. I agree though, they drafted at best a #2 receiver with that pick.

If I'm a Denver fan I'm not happy with this trade.

Hell no. They give up their 1st next year which is most likely going to be top 20.

Bad move.

Might be the norm... Car just did the same thing in picking DE Brown.

Yeah but Carolina is in position to compete. Without a QB, Denver may pick top 10.

Denver got the highest pick ever traded for a future No. 1 pick. It was the Seahawks who got the lesser end of that deal.

Carolina gave a First round and an additional pick to get Everette Brown. A heavy price for him. But good fit for Carolina

We'll see where the pick ends up. I think it would be the top half of the round.

That's an awfully definitive statement to make when none of the returns are in. I know that a pick in next year's draft is worth a round less this year, but next year always comes. If Denver is an average team next season and winds up with the 16th pick in the draft, Seattle has moved up 21 spots into what most people think will be a much stronger draft. Yes, they will miss out on one season of a second-round caliber player, but that's an extremely short-sighted point of view.
