nobody has really talked about them...I dont know who their defensive coordinator is but the guy is doing a tremendous job...this is the 6th game of the season and they still have yielded only one td...

their defense isnt exactly a who's who of NFL elite defensive players either

David

And that lone TD was to NE when they had the game won with a few minutes to go in the 4th and they played soft not to give up a quick TD.

They are flying under the radar a little but their D is tremendous.

I live in Colorado, so i am forced to watch the donkeys play every week. Their defense is incredibly overrated. Besides NE, who at the time was still suffering from withdrawal of Deion Branch, they haven't played anyone with an offense. Oakland, Cleveland, Baltimore, yeah those are scary. And they lost to ST louis just giving up field goals.

It will eventually bite them in the butt that their offense can't score.

The real test comes the next stretch of games: Indy, Pitt, San Diego.

There is no way in the world of crap they don't allow at least 2-3 TDs to each of those teams.

Any defense led by the most overrated player in the history of professional sports, Chump(bites on every pump) Bailey, will not hold up.

And here I thought I read people whine and whine more about pressure and sacks is more important than holding opponents to no scoring etc..... I guess when its another team, its great, but if it is our team, that playing safe.... People need to make up their minds and stick to one thought..

Exactly. The 2006 Broncos defense looks very similar to the 2003 Cowboys defense. It is working, but it isn't the defense people clamor for on this board.

You also need to look at their scheule to date. Baltimore, Oakland, NE, KC, and St.Louis.

I picked Denver to win the AFC in the preseason and see no reason to change at this point.

And they have the option to switch 1st round picks with the Foreskins. Not too bad.

They haven't exactly played any teams that move the ball. I do like thier backers, and corners. Should get test at home next week against Indy.

Exactly.........nothing special...just a victim of circumstance (the schedule). By years end, truth will be told........they're average at best....

There schedule does seem to have a lot to do with it.
