I yet to see you two Denver fans give me a legit reason why the broncos will win.

thats not a reason, here is a couple.tomson75;2979979 said:Here's one.
We're a better football team than you are.
Come back in five days to take your meds kiddo.

Again, what makes you think this?crash123go;2979990 said:thats not a reason, here is a couple.
1. your gonna get zero pressure on orton, dallas faces the best o-line in the league
2. ratliff isn't going to anything, he is going up against our all pro center who specializes in NT
3.the best defensive backfield in the league is waiting for roy williams and jason witten

It's a Broncos fan syndrome. 12 years ago during their glory years (which began in 1997 and ended in 1998) they had a small but talented offensive line which arguably was indeed among the best in the league.jwitten82;2979961 said:What makes you think yall have the best O-line in the league?

facts. ware is going up against the best left tackle in the league ryan clady played every game in 2008 .5 of a sack, we have the best right gaurd in the league kris kuper, 2008 stats played every game 0 sacks, right tackle ryan harris played every game in 2008 1 sackjwitten82;2980004 said:Again, what makes you think this?

They've held on to that reputation - which by now really is merely reputation - all that time.

the pass rush is nothing of what is was last year, dallas only has three sacks. the size of the d doesn't worry me either ratliff is undersized at the nose so wiegmann should be able to take him by himself. ware wont get past clady cause no one gets past clady. the raider d is bigger then dallas and we put 215 yards on the groundDcowboy84;2980015 said:where's your legit reason why the donkeys will beat us?
all i've seen is all this talk about the altitude and how you've "beaten" a team that beat GB and Pitt...and how Dawkins is gonna lay people out.
if you want to come to a Cowboy board and talk about the game, how about trying to come up with legitimate scenarios where you think there is an advantage for your team, or where you think there will be good battles, or what you think is the pros and cons for your team when you face ours....
don't give me any of these petty reasons why we're so overrated and Denver is so great. i'd put money down that you were banging your head to the wall during the preseason and all the baby TO drama and think you're all high and mighty now that Quinn and Russell couldn't beat you. i'm sorry but a team that has a 2nd half passing total of under 5 YARDS is not a measuring stick.
now why don't you try an argument/discussion more like this:
in my opinion, Denver has not had to go up against a running attack of our caliber yet, so i would hope we could have more success this week pounding the line of scrimmage with our running game.
i think the CB position is a little weaker this year than in years past so we should try to exploit them in with some double moves and quick screens.
the altitude is worrisome so i hope we remembered what it was like being up there in preseason last year and try to adjust.
we need to scheme for Dumervil b/c although he is small he has proven himself to be a legitimate pass rush threat, maybe not the calibur of the high end rushers, but still can cause problems.
the Denver o-line is smaller, but quick, so our D-line really needs to hold the point of attack and out muscle them, and that should help us to contain their running game.
if we can approach pass defense similar to how we approached Carolina i have confidence that we should stand our ground against Orton. he's been inconsistent in his career and he could grow overconfident after his success thus far.
now you see? i'm not bashing the Broncos, and i'm not claiming that Dallas is hugely dominant. i'm just laying out my opinion and where i think some good matchups should come from the perspective of Dallas' side.

Fact. What they did last season doesn't matter, because if it did you should really be worried since we led the league in sacks last season.crash123go;2980018 said:facts. ware is going up against the best left tackle in the league ryan clady played every game in 2008 .5 of a sack, we have the best right gaurd in the league kris kuper, 2008 stats played every game 0 sacks, right tackle ryan harris played every game in 2008 1 sack

tomson75;2980027 said:Oh wow...first of all....the first two are essentially the same damn thing. Second..."a couple" is two. You listed three...and yet you were ironically right by saying a couple, because the first two are the same damn thing. Third, you should ask Brian Dawkins if he underestimates Jason Witten as much as you do. Somehow I doubt it.
You better hope your team isn't as outgunned on sunday as YOU are today...and I would assume every other day...or it's going to be a **** show in Denver.
