i heard that on the radio. They made it sound it sound like he's their guy!

Never thought of that connection. It makes sense though & they get a guy with HC'ing experience.

With that said, I'm having some trouble digesting how he's clearly a better fit than Fox.

The success of any coach in Denver depends on Manning, one has to think that its over for Manning thats probably the reason all the coaches and coordinators wanted out.

I think Elway has out-thought himself and showed impatience which will backfire on the Broncos for years to come.

Kubiak came from Denver, has two rings with them as an OC and QB coach. I thought he left on bad terms, not sure why they would want him back.

What were the bad terms? I don't recall hearing about them. That is interesting since he left for a head coaching job in Houston. At the time he left Pat Bowlen and Mike Shanahan were the main guys in charge for the Broncos. Perhaps any troubles were with them and both of those guys are no longer in charge.

That is true, different leadership now. I don't remember what happened but living in Houston when he came to the Texans, they talked about it a lot. I think he was going to leave Denver even if he didn't get a HC job, but can't recall anything.

I agree. They will save a lot of money parting ways with him and then be able to re-sign their important free agents.

He could also get a Romo 2006 deal where you extend him for two years to evaluate him.

IIRC that made Romo the highest paid backup in the NFL until Bledsoe got benched
