TFY Draft Insider's Tony Pauline "often wonder why [Miami S Deon Bush] doesn’t get more mention."
If you've ever wondered what keeps Pauline up at night, you've now got your answer. "He’s an explosive run defender who does a terrific jobcovering receivers over the middle of the field and his size/speed numbers are similar to former Hurricane star Ed Reed," Pauline wrote. "But questions linger; can Bush play over the slot receiver or is he a liability in man coverage? The latter suppresses his draft stock but the former will result in a move up boards." The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder posted a 4.53 40-yard dash for scouts over the spring. He's in front of them as we speak at Shrine Game practices. "The one-on-one drills, where Bush lines up more like a cornerback rather than a safety, will help answer the question and the East receivers, who Bush will be practicing against all week, include significant next level talent, albeit late round picks," Pauline wrote. Wait what? Who is the "significant next level talent" he is lining up across from in Shrine Game practices?

He's got a chance, I don't think it's going to be as a coverage guy though. He needs to go to a team where he can play the LB/S hybrid like Chancellor and a few others. I'm not even sure he can cover some of the more athletic tight ends. He looks super tight in coverage and his reaction and make-up speed are lacking.

Who started the "The U" nickname? Can we please shoot that guy in the face?

I think that could be Michael Irvin, unless you are wanting to go all the way back to the person who designed the helmet logo back in the 1970s and punch him in the face.
