Deone Walker

I think he might go fifth rd at best
Daniel Jeramiah has Farmer in his Top 50. He may not be the best draft guy out there, but he does get to talk to scouts and team executives.
He hears things. If he is hearing teams like the guy this much, he may go day 2.
I like him in the middle of the 4th but that's just my lowly opinion.

He isn't a scheme fit anyways. He lacks burst up the field and is more of a heavy handed brawler of a DT. In the Flus scheme, he needs up the field pass rushers at DT. The best players for him in this draft would be players like:

3-Tech
Omarr-Norman Lott, TJ Sanders, Derrick Harmon, Rylie Mills, Darius Alexander

1-Tech
Alfred Collins, Jordan Phillips, CJ West, Omari Thomas, Zeek Biggers

Tough for guys that size to get consistent good pad level, and he's top heavy which makes for clumsy feet. Bottom 5th or after for me.

all you need is one GM convinced and a guy can go higher. I am just saying no other draft guru has this guy that high or even close to it. Kiper doesn't and he gets all his info from the teams. He does not do any real work himself but he is plugged in better than anyone.

Im thinking Josh Simmons at 12 and Harmon at 44 would be ideal with a RB in rd 3

Matt Miller with Farmer in the 2nd. I think you’re just looking at bad/outdated draft rankings. Farmer is going to be a very solid NFL player. 2nd might be a little too high, but he won’t make it out of the 3rd

I looked at the current ones so you are wrong. looked at ALL of them; so you are wrong again.
Solid does not warrant a 2nd rd pick. actually not even a third
mock drafts are strictly for entertainment; nothing else

I think it would be good for us to be talking 3rd, 4th and 5th round DTs, because I think this is where the Cowboys will be drafting. Look for the 3rd round and and a 5th round pick to be on the DL, maybe the 6th if not the 5th.
