Department meeting today

My department at Harris County has a meeting once every 2 months and todays meeting had one of the front office people with the Texans as a speaker. All my fellow employees are all wearing their Texan Jersey. Of course they know I am a Cowboys fan so they asked where my Texan Jersey was I told them I would rather be caught dead wearing a dress before I would ever put one of those Jersey on. One of the guys came up to me laughing saying well maybe we will just grab you and put one on you. I informed him there is only one problem and that is there is not enough of you to do the job. lol

Bantering has been going on all day long, it is too funny.

I'm wearing Cowboy colors just no logo. Lady on my floor she is die hard Cowboys fan as well and she is also wearing her cowboy color no logo and has been fighting the good fight all day as I have.

Just got back from the afternoon session of the meeting, I did not attend the early one since it starts before I am on the clock. At the end they did a raffle drawing and my number was selected. I was roundly booed as coworker said it is Cowboy fan, I had to tell them it is not my fault they have never tasted the sweet nectar of victory I have tasted it 5 times. lol

Proud to say there were at least 4 other who said they were with me. lol

Naw it was a coffee mug and a 10 dollar gift certificate at Starbucks. However the Director of our department will be giving 1 person 4 tickets in a luxtury box next to owners box for one of the Texans games. Now in fairness I will not accept this if it happens to be me because I could not and would not be cheering for the Texans. Outside of the NFC East the Oilers/Texans or the Oilcans as I call them are the teams I will not cheer for and are on my mosted hated list. lol

Hey I'm proud to call myself a Cowboys fans always have, always will. I can deal with down times but I know things will turn and my team will be on top once again. To reach heaven sometimes you have to go through hell.
