The first CD I can ever remember getting as a kid was Matchbox 20's "Yourself or Someone Like You" album. I was reminiscing today on Spotify and glanced at the album date- 1996. I thought to myself, "Wow that was a long time ago."

It was the last time the cowboys won it all.

You are a young man then. The first music I purchased was Led Zeppelin's "In Through The Out Door" album as in vinyl. Up until then I was content with my older bother's hand me downs... Queen, Kiss, Foreigner... 70's rocked! The Cowboys were perennial contenders with "Roger the Dodger" at QB and the great Tom Landry coaching.

LOL. That was the first thing that came to my mind right away after looking at that date. We're due. We have the team now and what better time to use our weapons then vs. Pats in February. ;)

The first record I can recall was "These Arms of Mine" by Otis Redding. I believe it was actually my Mom's but I remember playing it on a little record player I had, when I was a small boy.

The first Album I, myself, ever had that was actually mine that I bought (not given to me, handed down, borrowed from parents etc.) was Steely Dan - No Static At All.
