was just looking to see some 49ers fans opinions on the game and found this
http://forums.49ers.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=77619

Growing up in Tennessee, linebacker Patrick Willis loved the Dallas Cowboys. Loved 'em. He still smiles wide as he recalls his favorite players: Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Darryl Johnston.

Willis was such a big Cowboys fan, in fact, that he rumbled whenever his 49ers-loving cousin dared to mention a certain other NFL powerhouse team out West.

"Every time he would say Jerry Rice or Joe Montana, we would fight," Willis said. "That's how serious it was."

Considering that history, Willis will be excited in more ways than one when the 49ers — his 49ers — visit the new $1.2 billion Cowboys Stadium today.

At least Willis will be able to concentrate a little easier this time. When the 49ers played in Dallas last season, at old Texas Stadium, the former Cowboys fan was so fired up about being on the hallowed field that he felt like a kid again.
"Every play I was just excited to be out there," Willis said. "This year, playing them, I believe I won't be so excited.
"I'll be able to calm down and actually make a play or two."

Can you imagine...that guy could be on his way to the HOF if he keeps it up. I can recall off hand but a lot of players have admitted over the years they loved the Cowboys growing up.

He's a free agent in three years, and maybe if the 9er's still suck he'll want to come here.

A man can dream right?

During yesterday's (Saturday's) game he was interviewed during the game by a sideline report. He reiterated his love for Dallas, and how much he loved their history and organization. He was gushing all over them. Then when the reporter prodded him to speak some kind words for the 49ers, he basically said that SF is his team NOW, and that he had to get over his love for the Cowboys. Didn't make any glowing remarks about being a SF, just that he had basically come to terms with it. It must suck being a 49ers fan, and listening to your best player rave about the Cowboys while sounding a bit somber about playing for the 49ers.

i think as long as singletary is there, that patrick wont leave, besides like someone mentioned, the 49ers will franchise him if they have too;

i would like to have patrick with the cowboys though, he is a hitter and very good in pass coverage.

i killed some guys in fantasy league 2 years ago with willis on my team. I got to the championship game the last 2 years, hopefully i will advance further this year.

I still think the 49ers are about 2 years away from being a serious contender.

Next year, 4 to 6 top QBS will be out in the draft, singletary will get a top QB then, that will help them,

Actually he is STILL a Cowboys fan. He said that in a sideline interview last night on the Whiners broadcast of the game.
