Will get traded...but he will get to decide.

No way he'd sign on with Wash, unless Snyder sells first.

Greenbay ? ( if ARodge leave)
Tampa? (If Brady retires)

Jets? Doubt carr would do this....but maybe.

Seattle?

I think the Jets. Even then, he will be limited. I think his days as a starter are over. If he is willing to accept a back up role next year, MAYBE the Rams, Niners,Cards?

My guess...he's the starting QB for a team in Texas not named the Cowboys.

Interesting thought, but I would bet they use that #1 pick on a QB. They can then keep their cap space to add pieces around the young kid.

My money is on the Jets. A Carr/Wilson swap make a lot of sense.

But the Jets already have Mike White.

Decisions on Carr will have to come quickly. Based on the terms of his three-year, $121.5 million extension he signed before the season, his $32.9 million base salary for 2023 and an additional $7.5 million of his 2024 base becomes fully guaranteed if he's on the roster on the third day of the waiver period -- or three days after the Super Bowl.

Yup, he's going to get cut more than likely. Raiders seem like they want to have the ability to move on, but holding on to him into March, when trades can be made for the 2023 season means that his base is guaranteed in 23/24 so they are forced to trade him if they want to move on.
A new team could always restructure his deal, but with how his 2022 season went I doubt too many want that contract on their books.

After what they did to his brother? Doubtful. Think it’ll be a team that could actually use him. Titans or Jets would make a ton of sense.

Titans would be interesting. They are near the bottom in cap space for 2023 right now($17 million over the cap currently). They would take a roughly $18 million dead cap hit cutting Tannehill, but also save $18 million in cap space doing so. That would likely be needed to sign Carr or any new QB.

The way Geno played this year, I can't really see Seattle in this equation.
If they go QB it would be using their multiple high picks to move up to the top of the draft.
Otherwise, I think they roll with their Pro Bowler. They seem to love him.
