Anyone remember him? The guy who had like 5 picks for us? What happened to him, sure could use him. Just Thought of it

Alledged druggie and certain troublemaker. It's a shame too .. he had talent. He's out of the league I believe. I *think* he might be playing Arena ball.

Chad Peters, of DallasCowboys.com, reports former NFL CB Derek Ross was arrested and charged with trafficking marijuana and conspiracy to traffic marijuana after being found with 25 pounds of marijuana in Oconee County, S.C.

He was realeased by 3 different teams for various reasons (I believe), and if I remember correctly got busted for trafficking marijuana. He had like 25LBS on him.

EDIT: What bigDfan said. :D

It's hard to believe that we at one time had Derek Ross, K. Larrimore, and D. Goodrich all in our secondary.

Yes it is!

Instead of Thurman's Thieves they could've been known as Kareem's Crackheads.

Or Larrimore's Liars

Or Dwayne's Dumb*****

Or Goodrich's Goons

The coverage they used was the nickel or dime-bag.

BTW... how are ya' CBZ?

Excellent list :D

I'm doing fine......The better question is ...how are you? I hope you have recovered from every thing you have been through these past few weeks. You & yours were certainly in our thoughts & prayers.

I can not believe that a thread titled - Derek Ross - has popped up on this board. what the heck..... it has been over for years now.

can we get scott ankrom back? (if anybody remembers that late round pick from around 1989).

Awww man, me and my family are doing just fine. The recovery for the communities down here is slow and arduous. It could take a while. For my family individually though, things are pretty much back to normal.

Fortunately, working for a wholesale mortgage lender enables me to feel like I'm helping to rebuild the gulf coast, because each family that I put in a home is one less family that is out on the streets or in a hotel.

Scott Ankrom? I don't remember him... and I'm a draftnik. I remember Stan Smagala from Notre Dame. Very fast... but couldn't play football worth a crap.

I'm glad to hear things are close to being back to normal for you and your family Sir. Good news indeed.

From what I know of you as a member of this board.......I know The Gulf Coast and the famlies in need are in very adequate hands.

The best to you and yours Sir.

very good recall on ankrom.
he was the cowboys 12th round pick in 1989. he was drafted as a WR; i think he might have made the team, but didn't last long.
