He was sentenced to 4 years in prison for bail jumping over a year ago now.

I remember thinking at the time Bryant and Ross were drafted that Jones had rocks in his head using early picks on long shots. They both had talent but no brains or team spirit. It was obvious to me that Ross wasn't going to make it because of his thugish attitude and that Bryant's attitude and ego would probably be his undoing. Unfortunately I was right, along with aboit a million other people, even though I hoped I was wrong.

It's pretty hard to make a living on longshots, sure you can occasionally hit one but they seldom make up for the many misses. Betting the long shots are what keeps bettors poor and bookies rich. I hope the Cowboys' puppetmaster has learned his lesson but I have my doubts.

Wow.....I spoke with him for approx 5 min on Commerce St in S.A. during training camp his first year.......honestly, after 5 min of conversation with him, it does not surprise me that he is in trouble.....just seemed like that type of person at the time......it is sad though

Parcells was right. pure and simple on that one. plus he never really played up to his supposed skill bar that one season if i remember correct. he used to improvise too much.


I remember the term "street corner" being used alot. Like he was playing pick up games in the park n did what he wanted and not like he just stood around on street corners although the conviction for drug trafficking would point one in that direction. Maybe Parcells was a prophet in a former life. He did get this one right
